Hay Best Practice Management plans

Hay Shire Council engaged CPE Associates to assist it in completing a suite of Best Practice Management and planning projects funded through the Federal Government’s Strengthening Basin Communities Programme.

Daryl McGregor prepared the successful funding application for Hay Shire Council.

Under the programme, the following projects have been successfully completed:

• Best Practice Management Plans

  • Drought Management Plan

  • Demand Management Plan

  • Financial Management Plan

 Projects currently in progress are:

• Hay Sewage Treatment Plant replacement procurement, including:

  • Review of Environmental Factors (including a Flora and Fauna Assessment by Eco Logical Australia)

  • Process design (with Hydroscience Australia)

  • Tender documentation for a design and construct delivery method.

• Hay Park effluent reuse scheme:

  • Delivery pipeline design

  • Site management plan

  • Risk management plan

Daryl McGregor and Michael Cuthbert have also prepared Council’s Strategic Business Plan and Liquid Trade Waste Policy under earlier engagements.
